Pasta dies are not made of pure bronze, but of an alloy composed mainly of copper, of zinc and other chemical compounds. This particular alloy allows a very good processing. It has excellent hot deformability performance and complies with the legislation for materials in contact with water, intended for human consumption. It is a long-term tradition that artisans and families use dies in copper-based metal alloys (so-called bronzes). The wording does not mean that bronze is the only material that makes up the die. The consumers associate 'bronze dies' with a traditional process capable of providing a rough pasta, which absorbs and retains the seasonings.

Bronze Dinosaur Die – fun and original pasta

The Bronze Dinosaur die turns pasta into a creative format inspired by the prehistoric world. The dinosaur shapes make every dish unique and surprising, perfect for both adults and children and for anyone who enjoys bringing unusual pasta shapes to the table.
Made from real bronze, it gives the pasta a rough and porous surface that is ideal for holding sauces.
Pastidea dies are 100% Made in Italy, designed and manufactured with carefully selected materials to ensure quality, precision, and long-lasting durability.

Why choose a Pastidea die (100% Made in Italy)?

Choosing a Pastidea die means supporting a company that is entirely Made in Italy and focused on quality, carefully selected materials, and long-lasting products.
Every stage of production — from machining to packaging — takes place in Italy, ensuring an authentic, precise die crafted with great attention to detail.

Tips for cleaning pasta dies

To properly clean bronze dies, rinse them immediately after use under running water, avoiding detergents and never placing them in the dishwasher.
Gently remove any dough residue using appropriate tools and dry them thoroughly to prevent stains or oxidation.

Bronze dies with a PVD coating, on the other hand, can also be washed in the dishwasher.
Remove any remaining dough before washing and allow them to dry completely in the air.
With these simple precautions, your dies will always remain clean, efficient, and ready to use.
