Which pasta die options are available for the Philips Pasta Maker 7000 Series?

Watch this video-tutorial to understand which options you have.
When choosing pasta dies for the Philips Pasta Maker 7000 Series and the Philips Pasta Maker Avance, it’s important to understand the different systems available and how they affect pasta texture, cleaning, compatibility, and future flexibility. Pastidea offers three main solutions, each designed to meet different cooking habits and preferences, from everyday home use to more traditional pasta making.

FIRST OPTION:
POM pasta dies without an adapter

ADVANTAGES
✔ Can be washed in the dishwasher
✔ Quick extrusion
✔ 197+ available formats
DISADVANTAGES
✘ Less robust
✘ Cannot be used on different machines
✘ Smoother, less porous pasta

POM dies to be used without an adapter on the Philips Pasta Make 7000 Series

For everyday use, POM (food-grade plastic) pasta dies offer a practical and convenient solution for the Philips Pasta Maker 7000 Series, as they can be used without any adapter. Thanks to their lightweight construction and precise geometry, POM dies allow smooth extrusion and are particularly easy to handle and clean. Their non-porous surface makes them ideal for users who prefer quick cleaning and consistent results, especially when preparing fresh pasta frequently. POM dies are dishwasher safe and are designed to be used directly on the Philips Pasta Maker 7000 Series, making them the simplest option for users who want a straightforward, plug-and-play experience without additional components.

SECOND OPTION:
Bronze and PVD-coated pasta dies: texture and durability

ADVANTAGES
✔ High quality porous pasta to better absorb the sauces
✔ Can be used on different machines with various adapters
✔ Very robust
✔ 200+ available shapes
DISADVANTAGES
✘ Only the dies with a PVD coating can be washed in the dishwasher
✘ The adapter needs to be purchased separately
✘ More expensive

Bronze dies to be used using an adapter on the Philips Pasta Maker 7000 Series

ADAPTER MULTICOLOR FOR PASTIDEA SCREENS
Traditional bronze (brass) pasta dies are known for producing a rougher pasta surface, which allows sauces to better adhere to the pasta. This makes them ideal for classic Italian recipes where texture plays a key role. For users looking for easier maintenance, PVD-coated bronze dies offer an excellent upgrade. Thanks to the PVD treatment, these dies are dishwasher safe while maintaining the same extrusion quality as standard bronze dies. This makes them especially suitable for frequent use without compromising durability or performance. With this system, over 200 pasta shapes are available, giving you maximum freedom to explore both traditional and regional pasta formats. One of the key advantages of Pastidea pasta dies is their modular design. By using dedicated adapters, the same dies can be reused on different pasta machines, not only on the Philips Pasta Maker 7000 Series. This approach protects your investment over time and allows future compatibility if you decide to change or upgrade your pasta machine. The adapters are designed to ensure correct extrusion pressure and optimal results across different models.

THIRD OPTION:
Insert system: a patented and cost-effective solution

ADVANTAGES
✔ Very affordable if purchased in a kit
✔ Easier to clean as they can be disassembled
✔ Available as inserts in POM or "bronze"
✔ Patented by Pastidea, not available elsewhere
✔ Smaller and easier to store
DISADVANTAGES
✘ Not all the shapes are available as an insert
✘ Currently, not many shapes are available (more to come)

Pasta die inserts to be used using an insert casing or holder on the Philips Pasta Maker 7000 Series

MF002N133 pasta die insert Fusilli A3 10mm
HR2355MF002 pasta die insert holder Philips Pasta Maker Avance 7000 Series
Pastidea has developed a patented insert system designed to make pasta extrusion more affordable, easier to clean, and more compact to store. The inserts are available in bronze (brass) and POM (food-grade plastic) and are used together with a dedicated insert casing or holder. There are two types of casings: one for pasta shapes typically extruded horizontally and one for shapes extruded vertically. These casings can be purchased individually or as convenient kits, offering excellent value and flexibility. While this system allows for many shapes and future expansions, some very complex or special shapes may not be feasible. However, the smaller size of the inserts makes them particularly practical for home kitchens with limited storage space.
